Cirque Battles Disney’s Little Mermaid But A Tale of Two Cities Wins
Classic Summer Broadway Festival Continues
No better place to be for spectacle and song today than in the thick of the crowd at New York City’s Broadway In Bryant Park celebration. This week’s Broadway battle put the wild and twisting stars of Cirque Dreams: Jungle Fantasyagainst the sweetly sea-songers from Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Of course, ultimately a big winning performance was made by the new Charles Dickens’ musical A Tale of Two Cities and In Transit made a nice showing as well as the hit Altar Boyz. Click on the thumbnails to get a sense of the competition. The event is sponsored by 106.7 Lite FM and is free for all. More Broadway Talent Wars next week. Congratulations to all. No fish were harmed in the production of this concert.
