Catherine Zeta-Jones Coming to Broadway?
Chicago Film Star Looking On-Stage

She was part of the revival of the Broadway Musical Movie with her turn in Chicago, and now Catherine Zeta-Jones is looking at multiple Broadway offers, according to an article in The Sun. Though the splash of brilliant revivals have been a recent highlight, the Welsh actress prefers new plays and musicals.
“There’s been an influx of offers for me to do some stuff in New York. It’s predominantly musicals and I got one straight play the other day,” Catherine is quoted as telling The Sun. “But if I’m going to do it, it has to be something I really want to commit to. It’s such a big investment with the rehearsal period and invariably they want you to be in a good portion of the run of the show.
“They’ve offered me a revival of this, a revival of that, but I feel I already did one revival on film and it’s there for ever. But if there was a fresh new musical, perfect, I would love to. I’m very flattered that theatre does come my way quite a bit.”
Would she do a new musical with husband Michael Douglass? Hmmmm, that would be something.
