Irena’s Vow Playwright says, “I kept a promise to Irena Gut Opdyke…”

We recently had the chance to interview Dan Gordon in our New York studio. Gordon is a celebrated writer in Hollywood and now is a also celebrated writer on the Great White Way. Gordon brought Irena Gut Opdyke’s story to Broadway this season with the opening of Irena’s Vow, the inspiring story of a woman who hid twelve Jewish people in a senior German military officers home during the Holocaust.

With all the praise Irena’s Vow has received (even whispers of TONY nominations) Dan Gordon says that the real praise should go to Irena Gut Opdyke for her courage and determination. Click here to read more and to watch our interview with Gordon.
