The Hollywood Reporter Interviews President of Broadway.tv
Article Emphasizes Broadway Star Qualities
The Hollywood Reporter did a nice writeup with NetworkGlobal’s President and CEO Gunnar Larson, about Broadway.tv and Broadway’s latest Hollywood success.
Click to read the article published today, and see what Gunnar had to say about how Broadway and Hollywood are coming together in a big way!
Gunnar emphasized “Stars coming to Broadway definitely give shows added marketing appeal.” Gunnar also mentions HAIR the musical and the shows success without using a Hollywood name, “There’s no big Hollywood name, but it’s one of the most successful shows on Broadway right now because of that story.”
From The Hollywood Reporter article: Now producers are also using Web sites like Broadway.tv that reach theatergoers not only in the New York area but worldwide. And that’s giving them much greater reach. And unlike newspaper ads, Larson reminds, “You can attach a video in an ad with us” and let people see what a show looks like.”
Fun Fact From Wikipedia: The Hollywood Reporter was Hollywood’s first daily entertainment industry trade paper. It began as a daily film publication, then added television coverage in the 1950s and began in the late 1980s to cover all intellectual property industries.
