The 24 Hour Plays Off-Broadway

The 24 Hour Plays Off-Broadway will be held July 13th at Atlantic Theater in Manhattan. This year’s event will feature six new productions. Each play is written, staged, and rehearsed, in the 24 hours prior to the play’s performance.Featured actors are Jennifer Mudge (The Philanthropist), Laura Breckenridge (Gossip Girl), Joey Slotnick (Nip/Tuck), Julie Halston (Hairspray), Max Casella (The Sopranos) and Russell Jones (Ruined).
Featured writers include Beau Willimon and Jeff Borkin as well as the At Play ensemble. Nikki Blonsky will host the 2009 24 Hour Plays Off-Broadway. The Atlantic Theater, 48 West 20th Street, doors open at 7:45pm and the show begins at 8pm.
