How to Make an American Family will premier at the 10th Midtown International Festival beginning today, July 15th at 9pm. How to Make an American Family is written and performed by Jeff Seabaugh who takes on the role of over 15 diverse characters.
The play follows a gay man who feels like he doesn’t belong in his own family while caring for his terminally ill mother and his disabled aunt. After caring for these women he begins his own unconventional family of foster children.
How to Make an American Family will be preformed at the Jewel Box Theatre, 312 West 36th Street, Fourth Floor East: Wednesday July 15 at 9:00 PM; Friday July 17 at 6:00 PM; Saturday July 25 at 11:30 AM; Tuesday July 28 at 6:30 PM; Saturday August 1 at 6:30 PM; and Sunday August 2 at 6:00 PM.
