New Broadway Production in Works

BROADWAY MAGAZINE – Call it a reverse-Hugh-Jackman. Variety is reporting that plans are underway for Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe to return to Broadway in the musical “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.” Having won over critics for his bold work in the intense drama Equus on Broadway last season, news that Radcliffe will undertake a musical comedy will no doubt be greeted with enthusiasm. Clearly he has the work ethic and stamina to survive a Broadway run.

This season Hugh Jackman is earning raves for his dramatic work in A Steady Rain. Jackman actually made his Broadway debut in a musical as The Boy From Oz. While we suggested some roles for Daniel Radcliffe at the close of Equus, the idea of having him star in a smart and charming musical comedy like “How To Succeed” seems a perfect fit.
