Cirque Du Soleil’s “Zarkana” Sets NY & Moscow Runs
Zarkana comes to Radio City
Producers of Cirque Du Soleil’s newest acrobatic spectacle Zarkana have announced that following their New York run this summer at the famed Radio City Music Hall, the production will be going on the road and will perform at the Kremlin Palace Theatre in Moscow. One of 22 Cirque productions, the run in Moscow is expected to allow more then 350,000 guests from Russia and all over Europe and Asia to take in Cirque’s latest installment. Performances in Moscow will run from February through April 2012.
Zarkana was written and will be directed by Francois Girard, and is his second creation for Cirque Du Soleil. His first production was the acclaimed Tokyo resident show, Zed. Zarkana will begin previews at Radio City on June 9, 2011, for a limited summer run.
