Maksim and Karina Wedding on Hold for Broadway

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars are starring in Broadway’s Burn the Floor  the pro dancing duo were engaged Dec. 2008, but they just don’t have the time to get married because of their insane schedules.

“We don’t plan [the wedding],” Chmerkovskiy, 29, told PEOPLE magazine on Friday during a sneak peak of Burn the Floor, where Broadway.tv was to chat with the new Broadway stars click to watch the coverage the hot couple has quite the chemistry.

“We’re [working] 14 hours a day. This is our life right now,” Maksim said, Karina not one to be quiet had this to say of fiancé Maksim “He’s the groomzilla,” “He wants a big wedding and I want it small, so we’re still in negotiations.” Right after Burn the Floor the pro dancing duo will immediately start on the next season of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.

“The only thing we’ve decided is next year in June,” Smirnoff, said. “We were going to pick the place, but we never actually had the time. [But being on Broadway] is amazing and we love doing it, so we don’t feel like we’re missing out on the wedding dress fittings.” “We’re not rushing,” she says. “As long as we’re together, tying the knot is a plus, it’s something extra.”
