Oscar Winner Pacino As Shylock

Al Pacino is one amazing actor and after an extended hiatus the Academy Award Winner is bringing his talents to the annual Shakespeare in the Park in New York’s Central Park during the summer of 2010.

Pacino hasn’t acted on the New York stage for seven years, and his new role will have him playing Shylock in The Merchant of Venice, a role which he played in the 2004 movie version of The Merchant of Venice.
