Constantine definitely deserves an award nomination for his performance in Rock of Ages. His performance and those vocals are to die for. But whatever the outcome, Constantine can be proud of a job well-done and being included for possible nomination in this group of talented performers is certainly an honor.

The Tonys should reward Daniel Radcliffe for his exquisite portrayal of Alan Strang in “Equus.” I had only seen the film of “Equus” before and in no way did Peter Firth (who played Alan in the film) move me the way Radcliffe did in this play. It was as courageous and heartfelt a performance as I’ve seen in years. I hope he returns to Broadway soon in another play that lets him show us the true range of his remarkable talent, one in which he isn’t required to do nude scenes so the press and public can concentrate on his acting, not his attributes.
